Despite the lukewarm price action from BTC, ETH, and other boomer coins, fomo keeps smashing growth metrics as its users continue to make generational wealth, with one guy turning $99 into $370,000 in a single trade.
Read on to learn how he did it.
Here’s another wild fact. Last week, 1 in every 2 active wallets on the Robinhood Chain came from @fomo.
As traders keep flooding in, so do the app updates. To wrap up last week, we launched an update featuring developer tags, holdings, and thesis, enabling devs to share updates with their communities directly on fomo.
In other news, it’s beginning to look like we have a generational run in the robotics sector on our hands, with an early sign being the $900 million Unitree IPO, which was reportedly more than 8,000 times oversubscribed by retail investors.
Although the sale occurred in Shanghai and trading hasn't begun yet, traders eager to gain exposure to robotics can already take a position on UNITREE right here on fomo under the 'pre-IPO’ tab in the perps section.

AI slop on the big screen
Last week’s Top Trades leaderboard was hijacked at the last minute by 牛来 (Niu Lai), a coin based on a Chinese AI film that was so poorly made it flopped spectacularly, which is exactly why it went viral.
In absolute dollar terms, @Quanterty tops the leaderboard with a massive PnL of +$820,000 on 牛来 (Niu Lai). Well played, sir.
However, the trade of the week, or perhaps even this year, goes to @fmpumpguy, who managed to turn $99 into a whopping $370,000 on what is essentially AI slop on the big screen.
That's a 3,737x multiple, for those curious. Unbelievable…
His reaction to the whole thing is priceless and deserves a place in the Louvre.
Let’s just hope he knows better and at least takes a few chips off the table.
Naturally, the top trade ranks will flip around as the week progresses. If you wish to stay on track, download fomo and keep your eyes peeled 👀

It has been exactly a week since we introduced Clans, and traders have been going at it like it’s 2014 and we’re raiding each other’s bases in Clash of Clans all over again.
Amid fierce competition, the Clan that emerged on top during the inaugural week was chubbicorns, with a combined PnL exceeding +$336,000, driven by huge wins on CETS, ROBBIE, and unc.
The Clan follows the typical power-law pattern: while 9 of 12 members were in the green, the top 4 traders accounted for over 80% of the total PnL.
The name chubbicorn comes from an NFT collection launched in September 2021 featuring cute, chubby unicorns.
Interestingly, back then, the team used the character artwork to launch an official Giphy channel, generating over 11 billion views across social media platforms.
Although the connection between the original creators and the Clan’s members remains unclear, owning this NFT appears to be a prerequisite for being part of this clique. That and being an elite trader, of course.
It will be interesting to follow these guys over the coming weeks to see whether this Clan is a one-trick pony or here to stay and gallop past the competition.
Which section of the newsletter do you enjoy the most?

The Black Bull is not done yet
It appears the trenches won’t let ANSEM wither away just yet, with over 32,000 traders holding it on fomo.
Over the past week, the coin bounced back from around $160 million in market cap to roughly $260 million, marking an impressive 60% move from the lows. Not bad for a coin of this size, given the market conditions.
Real (Fake) World Assets
RWAs this, RWAs that, but have you heard of Fake World Assets (FWA)? FWA combines NFTs and DeFi mechanics to deliver a unique spin on the well-known Gacha game.
But don’t take our word for it. Here’s why a prominent fomo trader, @airtightfish, is holding a sizable position in FWA:
The main catalyst that sparked the explosive movement was a fee switch on Aug 6, directing 100% of protocol fees to buybacks, which led to the coin rising by more than 600% in the following days as traders flocked to ride the revenue narrative.
As always, keep track of the majors in the “most held” section directly inside the fomo app.

The thinking cat
Launched on Robinhood’s PONS launchpad, which we discussed in our previous newsletter, HMM went on a tear, clocking in a whopping 1,600% before topping out at around the $27 million market cap mark.
The fact that @CryptoKaleo bought it surely helped it catch on, but you have to admit we humans love a good cat meme, especially when the cat is pondering something.
A golden goose in the form of a cat
If FWA is all about NFTs backed by ETH, then CETS is a cat coin backed by gold, which rose from a market cap of less than $100,000 to more than $15 million over the last 7 days.
That’s 150x in the span of one week, folks.
What makes CETS so intriguing is that, instead of the coin being paired against a chain’s native asset, in this case BNB, it's paired against XAUT.
The trick that really drives this home is that every buy and sell incurs a 3% tax, which goes straight back to CETS holders as XAUT.
Hold a cat coin, and get paid in real gold. Try to explain that to your normie friends.
Trending coins change fast, so we suggest keeping tabs on the fomo trending coins section for the latest and greatest opportunities.

And that’s a wrap. Thank you so much for reading this newsletter.
