Rejoice, for the crypto winter has come to an end. As BTC rallied from $62,000 to $79,000, the rest of the market swiftly followed. And not without reason.
On paper, the most consequential news was the SEC’s proposed rules titled “Regulation Crypto Assets,” which would establish a clear, fit-for-purpose framework for certain investment contracts involving crypto assets.
Culturally, though, the biggest event of this week transpired at the White House, as the 47th President of the United States uttered the word Hyperliquid (HYPE) during an event with crypto executives.
Can’t think of anyone happier than this guy.
Turning our gaze toward yours truly, fomo entered the big leagues by becoming the 3rd most-downloaded app in the US App Store's Finance category.
Job's not finished though, so we shipped a bunch of updates, including improved charts, clan share cards, member management, localization in Chinese, Spanish, and Japanese on web, and other quality-of-life improvements across mobile and web versions.
Most importantly, we launched Creator Rewards, enabling you to earn not only from numba going up technology but also from other traders following in your footsteps.
fomo is now sponsoring the “Risk On” podcast, which airs twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays at 12 pm EST. Be sure to follow them on X, and don't forget to use this link for a 10% discount on trading fees.

Crypto isn't the only asset class that can rip. Turns out stocks can nearly double overnight, too, provided the news is big enough.
And the news was big for Moderna (MRNA). An experimental mRNA-based vaccine succeeded in stopping cancer from returning or spreading in a study of high-risk melanoma patients. What?
Shortly after the news broke, we made MRNA available for trading, so those who jumped in early still captured a fair chunk of the move as the stock rallied from $120 per share to about $190.
Now that the dust has settled, biotech is looking like a sector worth keeping on the radar.
For those wondering how perps differ from spot trading, we’ve put together a short explainer to get you up to speed on the basics.

It's not often that we see changes at the very top of the Hall of Fame leaderboard.
But last week, we saw one individual make an ungodly amount of money on CATE, propelling him into the upper echelons of fomo society.
More specifically, because of his CATE position, @PoorGoat_ ranks third on fomo’s all-time leaderboard.

The week's second biggest winner is @MINHxDYNASTY with his CYBERLEEK trade, which banked him $350,000+. GGWP!
The story behind the coin is absolutely mental, and being able to trade the memetics of it in real time is the whole point of fomo. More on this later.

Naturally, the top trade ranks will flip around as the week progresses. If you want to keep track, download fomo and keep your eyes peeled 👀

If there is one coin that’s worthy of the name Major, it would be CATE. Not to be confused with a 2021 BSC coin with the same ticker.
With more than 71,000 fomo traders holding it, CATE shot up over 7x last week, rising from a market cap of around $11 million to over $80 million, undoubtedly making a lot of people happy, including the not-so-poor goat we discussed above.
All signs point to this being the year of the cat. At least on fomo, it is.
Every week, there is a cat-themed coin that absolutely rips, with the most recent one being Basecat. Following several confirmations of listings across notable venues, the chart went vertical, going from a $9 million market cap to $33+ million.
As always, keep track of the majors in the “most held” section directly inside the fomo app.

While Rockstar still scrambles to figure out who is behind the GTA 6 leaks, whoever is behind them has also figured out a way to profit from the public.
By attaching links and QR codes to the footage, they’re using gameplay leaks to promote their own coin, CYBERLEEK, which saw a 2,000% move over the weekend.
In true Joker fashion, they chose to burn nearly $1.5 million in dev tokens. Whatever message they’re trying to send, they’re still earning a ton of money from creator fees thanks to the high volume.
Last week, we talked about a coin on the CZ chain that’s paired up with gold. This week, the Robinhood trenches made themselves known with AI, sending it up by 500% in a few days.
Instead of gold, AI is paired with the world's most valuable company, NVIDIA (NVDA).
As always, the top trending picks will rotate, so make sure you keep monitoring the fomo trending coins tab!
